Skills Assessment

Skills assessments are offered to job-seekers and workers that are referred by a partner agency. The assessment can take up to 2 hours and includes an interview and assessment of essential skills relevant to the client’s goals, such as math skills, reading skills, or digital tech skills.

Skills assessments are commonly offered in these situations:
– Job entry
– Post-secondary entry
– Return to work

The purpose of an assessment is to give learners an opportunity to showcase their skills and understand where they may have skills gaps. The assessor provides feedback and recommendations to improve participants’ learning and help them achieve their career and education goals.
